Megan McGilberry, Owner
Megan got her start in politics in 2005 in the office of Texas State Representative Elliott Naishtat and organizing the University of Texas and Texas Youth Commission employees for the Texas State Employees Union. Megan went on to work for Hillary Clinton for President in Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, and Indiana in 2008 and Jeanne Shaheen in New Hampshire, the first woman in US history to be elected both a Governor and U.S. Senator. Megan then worked on the Women’s Political Participation team at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs and returned to Texas to join Annie’s List, a PAC dedicated to recruiting, training, and electing Democratic women. Megan served as Development Director and Deputy Director of Annie’s List until joining the Wendy Davis for Governor campaign as Finance Director in 2013. She has since started her own business as a fundraising consultant servicing nonprofits, PACs, and candidate committees at the federal, state, and local levels. She specializes in building strong organizational fundraising programs and personalized individual giving programs. She grew up in Dallas and lives in the M Streets with her husband Jason, son Steven, and daughter Amelia.
Margarita Davis, Senior Finance Manager
Margarita graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in International Relations and Global Studies with a concentration in Security Studies in Russia and Eastern Europe. Her work in college included research projects focused on propaganda and authoritarian regimes globally. Margarita spent the 2022 cycle as a finance assistant at MRM & Co. and subsequently as call time manager for the Jay Kleberg for Texas Land Commissioner Campaign. In her free time, Margarita volunteers on campaign phone banks and with community-involvement organizations.
